Rip off *****. NZ is hard to live in as it is without the extra power bill. Ever thought of the other people who have to suffer other than the bill payer? i. e Their starving children. We are not given a option.

Your pricing methodology is poor form The Lines Company
I have a house at mount maunganui and hamilton and pay $48 - $60 a month in Lines charges in those locations
After being slammed with $250 a month at national park just for Lines charges. my family now have to live like we're in a third world country and shut the house down when TLC Load control on the coldest nights of the year just to keep our Lines charges the same as they are in Hamilton. That's while ruapehu alpine lifts are pulling huge capacity off the network on the same nights just to make snow.
We're sitting in a dim lit house with to frightened to switch anything on. When we need to keep the family warm on these cold nights TLC beat us up like you wouldnt believe with the load reset pricing charges.
TLC pricing methodology is immoral and a disgrace to their 'totally captive customer' base that have no other option. We can change energy providers but we can't change TLC and they know it - sham on you TLC.
You have no understanding of what it's like to live under your draconian pricing regime.
TLC, you're a disgrace.

I live in a 3 bedroom home in Hamilton, family of 4, running dishwasher twice a day, hot water cylinder,washing machine, dryer, fridge, TV, computers etcand pay $180/month. In Ohakune, our bach is running 1 fridge, hot water cylinder turned offpay $140/month, electricity part is $35! How can this be right? Similar scheme to what the Mafia ran!

$350 a month you guys charge me fixed rate a month even though my kids and I practically sat in the dark last winter. You'll take my money but when I enquire about a my free tree trim its like tumble weeds. Quick to send out a warning though if I'm late a day or two to cut my power .

Wonder why you're not well? The Lines Company have installed Smart meters over the entire region during the last year, which produce 3 meter blasts of electromagnetic radiation every 30sec, all day and night. Heart palps, ringing in ears, brain fog, migraines, and cancer, are just some of the side effects of these new digital 'smartmeters'. They are not legal and without consent. Please research, if you live in the Lines regional area- Piopio, Oto, Te kuiti, Kawhia etc. Do not sleep in any room on other side of smartmeter wall.
