Super friendly staff. Well rolled and we'll priced sushi as well as delicious vegan options. Would recommend the teriyaki tofu salad. Absolutely fabulous place to eat.

Usually a lovely place for a meal, however my girlfriend and I got a meal (her being a vegan) and her meal came with a deep fried prawn in it. We told them, no worries it happens, and they replaced. However did not offer a discount, or a personal apology for the muck up. Seriously disappointed.

Great meals and fantastic value for money. Service was functional and nothing special, very busy spot and was full on a Tuesday night with tables turning over pretty quickly. Very popular by the looks.

Just had fab lunch bento box seafood tempura. $12. Huge. Had big prawn, big piece of sweet white fish and veg beautifully battered. Lovely light citrus dipping sauce. Plus gyoza spring roll. pickled veg salad Had to leave their special rice cos too full. Brilliant service and lots of families happily munching. Excellent.

Fantastic authentic food and brilliant atmosphere. Had traditional Japanese tables also which added to the experience. Would highly recommend the Jitsu.

31/08/2016 - reasonably priced, yummy and delicious 😋. The food came out quite fast after the three entrees.
This Dunedin Japanese restaurant is as authentic as you can get outside Japan. Even the setting and environment feel very warm 😄 and welcoming. The customer service was good and we were well looked after 😊.

Would I go back? Yes 🤗
