Helicopter Line has a team of friendly staff. Flight is very dependent on weather so we were asked to call them 30mins before flight. Otherwise, it has been an enjoyable ride up the mountains with snow landing during summer!

Amazing experience! We decided to do a 40 min flight plus landing last minute and definitely didn't regret it a single bit. Our pilot Sara was awesome! The flight was well organised, but had everything to be comfortable. You get cold on on top of the mountain but there is a cafe where you can warm up upon return. We have heaps of great photos and amazing memories to share. Thank you!

Three words. Oh. My. God.

We had been travelling around the South Island for two weeks and intended to visit Mt Cook towards the end of our trip. The weather had been playing incredibly nicely for us, and we quietly hoped that it would hold as we arrived in Glentanner.

Luckily for us, it did.

This afforded us the opportunity to fly with The Helicopter Line from Glentanner to see Mt Cook.

We opted for the 40 minute Mt Cook flight, which also included a soft landing on some fresh snow (at approx 2,000m altitude).

Our Pilot Sara, was very friendly and knowledgable, which only made the trip even more memorable as our young children felt very relaxed with her as our pilot.

If the weather is nice, you simply must do this. I certainly consider our flight up to Mt Cook and over many of the eastern glaciers simply unforgettable.

As for the cost? This is one of those moments which I consider 'priceless'.

Just Brilliant. The staff we great - experienced, competent, reassuring, helpful and knowledgable. The trip was amazing, exciting and inspiring. All of this thanks to these guys but not to Viator who couldnt care less that they'd given us duff info. Book directly or with another agency.
