Unfortunately their website is not set up to complete orders so you have to make your request and wait to be called back, but they will wait for you to call them first probably to save money on a mobile call. Also though you put in the request, it does not guarantee the items are in stock. Not worth the effort.

I had the most disappointing and disgusting experience with this company. I wish I read all these reviews first. Absolutely rude staff and utterly incapable. Placed an order and they dragged us along for 3 months, every time we called up another rude employee would tell us they would call us back and they never would and then we got a really rude email from them, save yourself the trouble and do not go with this company!!!!!

Horrible place to deal with. I wished I had read the reviews before engaging them. Whatever you do. Do not put deposits down or prepay orders.
Communication is very poor. Don't expect email replies. And if you want a refund you will never see one. Stay clear of this place!!!response / report this review -

I would totally recommend The Glass Room. I recently had double glazed windows (wooden joinery) installed by The Glass Room in a property I own in Christchurch. Living in Auckland at the moment meant I had to rely on The Glass Room to project manage the fit-out in my absence - something I was concerned with given the distance. This was further complicated as some of the joinery was found to be rotten (The Glass Room provided photos to show the damage). We discussed a strategy to remedy the problem and this performed to a high standard. Thank you Glass Room. I found the relationship consultative and professional allaying any fears I might have had at the time.

On doing alterations to our house we had The Glass Room provide a quotation for splash backs. An older gentlemen turned up who I believe was Richard.
Richard was very knowledgeable, great to deal with and gave more options than we could have possibly imagined. In fact we had to go away and rethink our options because of the great advice. Our second consultation was with a young lady by the name of Caley who was lovely to deal with and provided the concepts and design. Caley saw the project through to completion while having to work to our tight schedule without any hassles.

Absolutely terrible customer service! We had some windows retro-double glazed. What we were told and sold on was qualified joiners would do the work and fix or advise if additional work was needed on the timber windows. what we got was poor communication and left with our painter pointing out that some of the frames were rotten and needed repair. When I approached them about this after having them come back and agreeing was the case I have since had no reply. Their answer to my problem was to just ignore me and hope the problem went away. I would not ever recommend this company
