  This is a fantastic venue. But if you are lucky enough to go when the restaurant is open the food is great.

  Prior to leaving Northern Ireland for our month long tour of NZ, we had read good reviews about the Boathouse and made it our business to book a table when in Nelson. We were not disappointed! A good variety of seafood on the menu and the normal laid back Kiwi service! A really enjoyable evening with lots to see in the harbour! Well worth a visit and it's nice to spend a little bit more for an enjoyable experience once in a while!
