Playing to a niche market of the wealthy overseas tourist Terrace downs seems to struggle to maintain the quality of service and experience often found in high class resort locations.

Without a regular flow of customers the staff lack the finesse that there price demands. Beautiful locations, comfortable and well appointed accommodations, just manage your expectations of food and service.

What a letdown. Three of our group had the steak which was off and had to be returned for different meals. The other meals whilst not rotting, nowhere near measured up to this plane's reputation or exorbitant prices.

Several times we have ended up in here after skiing, with a mug of hot chocolate and some snacks. The view is incredible. Plus, the buffet on Sundays is quite nice too, and fairly priced.

Fantastic views. Facilities were awesome just a couple of things let it down though. Microwave didn't work and gas fire not working in one teams house and in the other teams house there were no electric blankets or heaters in the bedrooms. On a -5 night that was noticeable. But other than that the houses were very luxurious. Probably out my budget personally but for our team building night away it was perfect.
