Walking tracks for all levels, view is amazing, also has a road for if you do not want to walk.

Second Amazing Peak i'd visited,SUPER great view with Dreamy foggy up there.

Awesome mountain ranges.
It requires little careful drive over narrow road towards the peak. Once you reach at the top, the views are amazing.
Lot of tracks spread throughout these hills and you can easily spot some trampers around.
The site is well maintained.

Te Mata Peak is stunning, sealed road to the top, wonderful views, giddy heights and even a Hang Gliding launching platform. Scary!

If there is one thing you must do whilst in Hastings, its visiting this peak! It's an easy drive all the way up to the summit, though the road narrows for the last few hundred metres. The views on the way up are amazing and the view from the top breathe taking. Do it!
