This was a surprise birthday present for my wife as she had seen it on TV and mentioned she would like to try it. I had to arrange it as a surprise and the guys were an absolute pleasure to deal with from the beginning.

They are genuine enthusiasts who are keen to share their passion and in no way "gun heads" .
The pre ride tour was really interesting with lots of information about the vehicles, not only generic but the history of their actual tanks. It's really hands on, climb all over them, get hands into everything and they are no precious at all.

My wife drove three vehicles (2 APCs and 1 tank) and I cannot get the smile off her face! The guys were really patient and went out of their way to make sure she was comfortable and got the most out of the experience.

The once in a lifetime experience alone is fantastic, but it's the people that run it that turn it into an amazing experience.

A must do if you go to Christchurch.

My partner bought me the experience for my birthday. Since I was a young boy I've always had a fascination with tanks and these were the real deal. There is a selection of armoured cars, armoured personal carriers and main battle tanks to climb all over, and more importantly to drive!

We chose to drive the Centurion and it was awesome, Matt took both myself and my partner for a guided tour of each vehicle. He's very knowledgeable and was able to answer most questions and more. I got to move the turret, try out all the sites etc, move the gun. I guess the cost is at the upper end of the scale but how often do you get this kind of opportunity????

My partner has never liked tanks or anything like that but she said she had a fantastic time which says a lot. I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone with a slight interest in this type of thing - but make sure you drive a tracked vehicle as it's the most fun. Just wish I had the time and money to drive them all.
