Yes Sylvia park has some great shops. But you know what isn’t great? Staff members having their cars Broken into DAILY. Not only are cars attempted to being stolen but the staff members safety is compromised. People should feel safe going to work, and more importantly should feel like the only place available for staff parking should keep their belongings safe. $4 a day should ensure the safety of our cars. Right? Wrong. They have signs in the parking lot expressing that they take no liability of damage taken to the car, giving thieves an opportunity to break in and face no consequences. How about the organisation takes more responsibility and accountability and actively tries to prevent the stealing of cars? Maybe like having security monitor the car park for instance? Or more security cameras? There’s an abundance of security officers so I doubt this will be an issue. Many staff have shared there experience with me and feel the same about this issue. Please do something about this.

Post-movie meal at 'Better Burger', 8.30pm. Friendly, accommodating staff. Loved the fresh, crisp salad, in the tasty mushroom burger. And the fries, with skin on. Combo meal (burger, fries, soda) good value. Bigger appetites may need 2 burgers 😉

The biggest and best mall in the country.

Central location which is just off the southern motorway and also accessible via train.

Plenty of parking around the mall. All the parking areas lead you into different parts of the mall. So you don’t have to walk far from where you park to enter.

The mall itself straight and long. Good walking shoes are recommended.

The mall has all the brands and shops you could ask for. It’s a one stop shop for everything you need.

There is a 24 hour Kmart inside.

Constant security walking around keeping the place in order.

Toilets are always clean and tidy.

Decent food court on two separate levels. Enough choices to feed picky eaters.

Open till 7 every day of the week except Thursday/Friday where its open till 9pm.

Only issue: it gets unbelievably busy on weekends and public holidays.

Good variety of shops available. Reasonably clean facilities. Can be hard to find a car park at times. Thanks to the new extension there is a much wider selection of good restaurants.

This is a great mall, but they really need to sort out the parking especially at the south end which has the Warehouse at it.

The long layout of the mall means that sometimes you can end up walking a long way between two specific shops.

The do gave some great new restaurants we are looking to try out soon.

Love the variety of stores, and you can pick up a great coffee from the food court. The lady at the information desk was really helpful on the day we visited. The staff we spoke to in different stores were all helpful and very friendly!

Suburb sized mall with almost any shop you could think of. Great deals, not crammed into a small area but widespread over a great area. Amazing food places and always great deals in the stores. Almost always have cool kids entertainment like a huge merry go round or harnessed trampolines

Great shopping mall, central/south location and very handy/easy to get to from the motorway. Parking can always be tough to find, even more so now that there is construction happening nearby - but we found parking without an issue Fri evening, and shops whilst busy were not crazily unbearable. Great shops that you just don't have elsewhere in Auckland or NZ so well worth the visit.

Very helpful input from the Samsung kiosk.
Clean. Many interesting shops like Trade Aid.
A wide variety of people if you are into people watching.
We are normally up the Warehouse end so it was quite a long way to the in -a - shop Post Office.Other customers and the staff who served me were friendly and helpful.Difficult to find the posting boxes

A good mall. Has pretty much everything you could ask for. From the High Street outlets to save a dime ones. Good eateries, cinema, pubs, even a gas station makes it a place to spend and evening or for shopping on weekends.

One of the bigger malls in Auckland. Plenty of boutiques to browse. Food court provides decent amount of variety but nothing ground breaking. Cinema is good enough too. Parking area is big but still find itself full during holidays and weekends, which is to be expected anywhere.

I'm not a fan of shopping malls but if I do have to visit one I would go to the Sylvia Park. Thank goodness I catch public transport as it takes the hassel of looking for a car park for this popular shopping mall. Perhaps they should build parking buildings on top of existing parking lots. And they can have one car park building for the retail staff. Also it would be great if they had a Farmers and Kmart at this shopping mall, then I would visit it more often

The biggest shopping mall in Auckland. They have so much to offer. High end brands and products are mostly available here. Parking is sufficient but sometimes full.

Your parking options need to change. Too many 90min parking spots. Had to drive around for 20min trying to find any spaces for at least 180nin because we were planning to see a movie. Other than that, the shopping centre is good.

Loves Sylvia Park Shopping Center. But after working at Sylvia Park Shopping Center l realize that how many idiots works at Sylvia Park Shopping Center like to take advantage of the management team. Just base on the fact my old colleagues they always park their cars at the normal customer car park not the staff car park and when they got a fine for parking their car at customer car park not staff car park they will go and creates story to the customers in the salon by telling them the management team very mean which l personally found it not very nice. Common sense here right? You are a staff of Sylvia Park Shopping Center of course you need to park your car at staff car park not customer car park if you parked your car at customer car park than you get a fine and it is your fault shouldn't blamed the management team.

Great selection of shops, especially with most being open till 7pm during the week and 9pm on Thursday and Friday. Having Hoyts and assorted restaurants is great.

The only thing is because of all this, it can be hard getting a car park during the weekend. So when you can, getting a bus in or taking the train is a good option, as there are frequent runs of both to the complex.
