Cheap entertainment, lots of fun. Great retro vibes, the only bad point of this is sometimes the machines need tweaked but we didn't mind because we have so much fun. They sell drinks which is good because it's thirsty work. Clean bath rooms and they also have game machines where you can win prizes. Good value for money.
I like bowling.
Awesome time ..great customer service
A waste of money and a rip off, lanes not working
If your just after a no frills ten pin bowling experience in a dated establishment, then
This is the place. It sorely needs an injection of capital to modernise it and make it a place that people would enjoy staying at for a drink or a nibble
Too old and outdated. Machines always break.
Fun child-friendly environment.
Shame on you Superbowl
Having moved to Southland 18 months ago and have been blown away by the excellent customer service in EVERY other place but I'm just left shaking my head at tonight's experiance.
Rang Thursday night to book a lane (first family night ever with husband and two children) for the following Friday night, told that no bookings allowed as it was a special $12 for two games, just turn up and if lanes are free pay and bowl.
That was fine and fair.
Turn up at 6pm nobody was bowling, maybe approx 15 max children and adults were just hanging around, over more than half the lanes were free. Asked to buy for two adults and two children to be told..
"Well maybe, mmmmm, but I'm not sure we are still waiting on a party to arrive who are not sure of numbers (so had obviousily had not paid).
NOT good enough we were paying customers, with over half the lanes free and nothing paid on the lanes that were not in use and we were not willing to wait while a group that had not yet even all arrived to finally come together to get their butts organised.
We were planning on making this a family weekly thing but not anymore our money will be spent at other places that are willing to focus on what is right.
