Eye exam was great, but the frame choices are limited, I can hardly find one that suits my face. When I first went to collect my new specs that was fitted with prescription, it didn't fit my face well, I had to choose another one to remake - which is what I'm wearing now but it's still a little tight and uncomfortable on the sides of my head

I changed to Specsavers about 4-5 years ago after being a customer at a big chain store optometrist for well over 15 years, bcoz their prices were far too good - no need to pay upwards of $600 everytime I needed new specs.
I cannot fault the staff here, I have never struck a bad or unhelpful staff member & they're always happy to help you readjust your glasses, tighten loose screws etc. The aftercare is great!
I finally got around to going back to get my eyes checked again & had Jennifer as my optometrist - not only was she lovely, she was fantastic to deal with, friendly, more than helpful & really made me feel comfortable.

This business was amazing.
Tara? You are awesome, solved my problem with no issue at all. Stress free, and the frames you recommended are fantastic.
Gavin, when l picked them up, close to closing, you took your time and ensured they fitted perfectly ,

I was in 8c having cancer treatment and the wing off my gasses broke. The team went above and beyond in getting my glasses fixed, my lenses were fitted into new frames, and all at no cost. Bravo. Keep up your caring work. Much appreciated. Anne

I booked an appointment over the phone 2 weeks before hand, I thought it was at 45 past but turns out when I got there at 40 past it was actually 35 past. They did send me a text the day before which I didn't read because I do not use my phone often, they told me upon booking to give myself an hour to 2 for the appointment and when I got there they had cancelled it and told me I had to re book even though I had expressed I had driven 4 hours because I do not live in the area. Really upset because the optometrist was standing there and just said no even though he was not busy. I'll never bother going through all that trouble again for that service. Long story short dont make an honest mistake and be 5 minutes late or you won't be helped at all.

My husband and I are visiting from the UK. We visited the Dunedin store as my husband's frames had broken which we had purchased in the UK. The staff at Dunedin couldn't have been more helpful. They emailed the UK for details as the frames were still under guarantee. Due to the time difference they replaced the frames free of charge before they'd heard back from the UK trusting what we had said was correct. A big shout out to Rachel, Leanne, Sarah and Amie who all helped sort out the problem quickly and efficiently. An excellent service from Dunedin and Specsavers overall.

I had a really lovely experience here. First time needing glasses and all the staff members were so friendly, approachable and really helpful. My glasses (frames and prescription lenses) were all included in the 1 price which was really affordable!

Lots of hidden costs. You thing glass are 200 bucks that is only the frames but it's advertised as glasses 200. Then you pay for lenses then so much for anti gear then so much for tint an so on
