crummy old tiny ugly casino. give it a big swerve. this is the downtown one. the wharf casino might be better - dont know??!!
old and dilapidated, last updated in 1950 it looks like ! 8 ppl inside, mostly Asians, and looking desperate.
worse, the gestapo hit man mafia boss bouncer door man, clearly bored with nothing to do, took his chance to flex his power, and refused us, 2 older tired skiers after a long day skiing, b/c we were 'drunk' in his eyes. Ha ! i had had 1 drink only. wouldn't budge.
i only wanted to look at it. i did so from the entrance without entering. Asked the gestapo-man bouncer; "is this it??" meaning one tiny rom with 3 gaming tables and 1950s old smelly looking carpet. he said yep. i laughed and said ok no worries don't need to come in anyway !

A compact size casino with a bar inside in the heart of Queenstown. There are some card games and a number of slot machines. You can spend your time in the casino waiting for your friends.

Cheap blackjack ($5) and roulette ($1) but the blackjack plus variant they have gives the house a 6% edge compared to ~1% for other variants.
