Had a really good time with the crew of rotarua rafting. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and thought it'd be fun to give it a go. My wife doesn't spend as much time as me outdoors so I was a little concerned for her safety. I quickly realised that I could relax and enjoy myself as our guide Amy was very competent at guiding the craft down the rapids as was Kim in the other boat and Pat who was running a dedicated safety canoe for anyone that had trouble being recovered. All things considered it was a really fun and safe activity and I can't wait to come back to NZ and do it again. A big thanks to Jack as well who took some awesome snaps of the trip.

This was an amazing experience. It was soooo far out of my comfort zone. But with an awesome rafter guide like Kim, it was a "walk in the park". Mmm, I guess I'm over exaggerating.
As she had to deal with some scary rafters like me. Ha!!Ha!!!

She didn't look strong and muscular. I always took it for men to be in charge of this kind of thing. Well, I was reminded of that saying" don't charge a book by its cover". She was just amazing in steering and guiding us through those RAPIDS!!!!!!

It was an amazing experience and the fact that they could tell us about the history of the river and Maori ancestry made it even more exciting.

All in all these guys are just AMAZING it was an experience I'll never forgot.

AND I definitely got value for my money!!!!

Just a great all around crew working there. Really know what they are doing and it is completely safe and fun. You can tell the crew love what they do and have a really good sense of humor to them. Thanks again!

We rafted the Rangitaiki River with this crew and it's been one of the best experiences of my life. We took our children (14) and the staff we're brilliant with them.

All the equipment is provided (wetsuit, helmets, buoyancy aids), as is lunch on the longer trip we did. They have changing rooms available and warm showers when you return.

The organisation was faultless , and the staff manage to pull off being laid-back and fun but also safety conscious and trustworthy. The guides are experienced and there were two safety officers in canoes ahead and behind all the time.

When we hit Rotorua again in January we will be using these guys to take us and visiting relatives rafting again.

Yesper, good luck on your travels! Cam, Kim, Darren (SO?) thanks for a fantastic and memorable day.

Sweet as! So much fun. Great experience; lots of other rafting schnanigans than just sitting and paddling. Cam is the best guide and makes sure everyone has a good time!

All the required equipment from wetsuits to water boots and helmets are provided. The river also has a consistent flow and the drop down the Tutea falls of 7m is claimed to be the highest rafted falls in the world.

There are many spots along the river for friends and family to view the rafts shooting the rapids.

    Highly recommended!
