Really not bad considering it's a bunch of shipping containers. The food area looks great but there aren't many stores I recognise. The toilets provided have been clean every time I've visited which is great.

Really cool set up with a great selection of eateries. We just got smoothies, they were good though. Great atmosphere in this area and it was a great feeling as other parts of Christchurch were understandably muted and eerie with demolished buildings at every turn.

A lot of good food options in the mall however everything also shuts early - as do the rest of shops and restaurants in Christchurch CBD.

Lots of great shops including a tourist store for all your kitschy souvenir needs. Clothes, housewares, bath n' body and more. Great central location downtown. Only four stars because everything closes early.

Definitely not a "must see," but I'm not sure we ever found anything in Christchurch that would fit that description. A variety of cute shops that range from touristy/knick-knacks to regular clothing stores. Majority of the patrons were the construction workers on break though. We went during the morning so there were 4-5 little pop up food places that were closed but there were a couple of options that were still open.

This place came alive with pieces of art in every corner. Enjoy good food and shop some souvenir to bring home. Love it

interesting assortment of shops and food places. good to visit if you're a tourist in need of something to eat before you head to the botanical gardens

Excellent. How many uses for the humble shipping container? Well done temporary mall. A permanent presence would serve as a good reminder of the 2010/1 earthquakes in Christchurch.

It is a good starting point to see Christchurch. Grab a quick bite to eat and move on. The shops are aimed at the quick tourist buck.

A bunch of shops (some relatively upmarket) housed in converted shipping containers. While the shops themselves mostly didn't interest me there is also a good selection of street food stalls there too. The mall has some emotional significance for locals as a symbol of post-earthquake recovery. For visitors it is more of an interesting curiosity that is worth visiting before it eventually closes.
