We checked out the museum. It is really well done. Nicely set out. Not big but has a good range of exhibits and information. Worth a visit.

The Library seems to have less books in it than it used to. However it's E-book system is good. The museum which is linked by a skywalk bridge is ok. Permanent exhibits are rather cramped but still worth looking at. The exhibitions they hold are usually fascinating and we'll worth the visit.

Excellent museum with lots for everyone of all interests and ages, 11yrs to 78yrs all had fun and learnt a lot. Loved the interactive Bug exhibit.

Enjoyed several visits to the Taranaki Research Centre on the top floor, all the staff were most helpful. Great to find an in house cafe for lunch as well!

Exhibits are quite interesting, particularly if you're interested in learning more about Taranaki. The staff are quite friendly and helpful too
