Pet World is a great little boutique pet store, we really value their knowledge and experience, nothing but the highest recommendation. I've bought tropical tanks and equipment, and heaps of fish from them over the years, our kids love visiting to look at all the animals. We bought our family dog from Pet World over a year ago, half a dozen re-homed chickens, food for the cat, dog and chickens, the one stop shop!

Recently, Pet World deceptively sold someone I know a seriously ill kitten with herpes. This person now has to pay for various injections every month for both this kitten and the cat they already had which is now at a very high risk of catching the disease as it is extremely contagious. This is absolutely disgusting and ILLEGAL. Do not trust shady pet shops like this. Go to the SPCA. They also sold us bad quality pet food that gave our cat a very bad case of diarrhoea. I sincerely hope they get shut down. Shame on you. Service is also pretty bad, staff seem to pay little attention to you and you have to stand around for a very long time before you get served.

I will never go back here. In between shouting at her young daughter, the staff member made me feel about 1 inch high when I ask for advice on cycling my fish tank. I would never speak to a customer that way. I had the potential to spend money in that shop but that potential is well gone.
