Such a great gelateria!!! Besides all the awards and delicious flavours the owner comes from Argentina which like a New Zealand is a great diary producer and to top it off if great Italian influence, where gelato was created. I have been in Argentina and have to say this place didn't stay behind.

Nice ice cream but definitely not as good as its fame suggests. Regular chocolate was okish and their black current was a bit in the sour side.

It's the best Gelato I've had so far in NZ! Many unconventional flavors like cucumber or lavender, and interesting mixes like watermelon, honey and apple or strawberry and lemon. The owner is very friendly and can recommend you a flavor, in case you cannot decide (so many great ones!).
If in a group, I recommend getting a 1/5 kg box, you can fill it with all the flavors you like.

I've been around the world and this is literally the best gelato I've ever had. The owner is an enthusiastic artist, glad to talk about his craft and give recommendations. Cucumber gelato was absolutely amazing, as was his watermelon, chilli, and mint sorbet. We tried every flavor, plus some he was working on, and every single one was beyond expectations.
