A quiet secluded getaway spot right on the Tamaki Drive. Faces the beach but perfect for a group event like a BBQ and they even have a pit available if you want to BYO meats and propane to cook. Faraway removed from the hustle of street traffic, didn't know I drive past such a treasure in our big little city.

Work Christmas thing in the park. Laid back and casual. Plenty of space and shade if you are early. Parking could be an issue.

Excellent Park for all ages and dogs!
Great flying fox. Is also a great staging position before Kelly Tartons opens at 1000 -

Good to take kids to play. Flying fox, swings, slides are there for some fun. Can take dogs for a run too.

Orakei Domain has many fantastic spaces for all ages and the park is always a hit with the little ones! Great place to chill with the whanau, friends and others.
Perfect place during summer although you would need to arrive early to ensure you can get the best spot possible as is an extremely popular place during this time. -

Popular place for holding events here a really good playground big fields to play touch rugby or what ever sports and picnics.I had come down for waitagi day events.

Really beautiful spot about 1/2 way between Downtown Auckland and Mission Bay. This photo is looking out to Devonport's Mount Victoria and North Head.

Great playground, got toilets nearby, benches and picnic tables. BUT no rubbish bins. You're expected to take your rubbish away with you, it's just a shame some people don't.

Green space right by there water. Nice to see a space like this that hasn't been taken over by there wealthy for exclusive housing.

Okahu Bay, lovely view of city and prefer this bay. Not so busy as Mission Bay. Great large grassy domain with playground. Through summer they hold special family orientated events in domain, concerts and any promos to do with Auckland city.
