Coffee and pie for lunch, average diner food, decent coffee. Not bad prices and friendly staff.

My first stone grill meal, was AMAZING! my partner and I do a lot of traveling and eat out often, but I can't actually think of a better meal I've ever had out, definitely not in New Zealand at least. Beautiful cuts of meat, I had lamb, beef and chicken, chips tasted amazing. Reading some other comments the gentleman who served us seemed focused on his job, wasn't overly chatty, but was nice and polite. Had a wonderful lady bring out my meal and politely explain/suggest how to best cook the meat. Whenever we travel to Wanaka, we always drive through Omarama, usually we stop across the street for fish and chips, but lucky for us they were shut today and we were forced to try this place. Cannot express how much I enjoyed my meal, great pricing, large indoor eating area, with outdoor seating available, lots of cakes/slices/biscuits to try as well.
We will never be stopping for fish and chips across the street again, #1 stop in Omarama! We came in just at the end of a the lunch rush and still had a short wait for our delicious meals!response / report this review -

Bad food to start with.the old creepy man that works their put me off ever going back, if your a lady I wouldn't go because of this employee
