One of the Highlights of New Zealand. Though I hear it might be gone due to earthquakes Baby seals head inland to a waterfall where they live till their old enough to head out to sea Very Cool. Spent half the day hanging out with these little guys. Free and definitely worth a visit.

The Seals were so cute, they were from the start all the way to the waterfall and so close you could almost touch them.

This is a 7 starts experience and total must! I did it about two years ago, unsure If it is still open as google is suggesting 'permanently closed' so maybe check If it is still available. If yes? go go go!

Good place to watch new born seals playing near the fall, but check schedule for the population of seals. Visited twice, July has many of them, Nov has two only

A perfect location for seal pups. The walkway is best visited in the colder months. Its a very short walk and certainly worth the stop! Playful seal pups abound.. please respect them and their environment for them to continue living in this beautiful space.
