Oaklands Lodge

Oaklands Lodge is ideally situated in the heart of Mount Eden village, which plays host to a range of cafe's, restaurants and bars. This quiet yet charming neighbourhood also boasts the beautiful attraction of Mount Eden itself where visitors can take in views of the whole city from above. For those who wish to explore the city we are just a short 10 minute bus ride away.

Our large, Victorian lodge is a quiet and relaxing home away from home and we are certainly not a party hostel. However, we do encourage guests to be interactive and make the most of their experiences in Auckland. We offer a range of laid back activities for guests to get involved with, including $5 meal nights, movie nights and quiz evenings. We also run regular activities with our sister hostel Bamber House such as BBQ's, Laser tag and sports matches.

Oaklands Lodge is now offering FREE INTERNET for all guests. In addition to this we also have lots of films and tv programmes for guests to relax and watch. Oaklands guests are also able to benefit from towel hire, fresh linen, extra pillows and blankets and FREE herbs and spices in our spacious kitchen.

Our office is open from 8am -1.00pm and 2pm to 8pm. We may be able to accommodate arrivals outside these times if you let us know when you making the booking. Our normal check in time is 2.00 pm but if you are arriving earlier than that we will do our best to have your room ready as quickly as possible.
