Beware of the kea birds. There are a few of them ~ they will chew your car antenna ~ haha. Don't feed them. Stay calm and . enjoy the funny moments ~

Make sure you fill up your drink bottle here because the water is so pure and fresh, tastes amazing, beautiful drink to take in the beautiful scenery

Scenery is unbelievable (the whole way). But be aware of keas, they're smart and they may attack you if you come to close. They're also known for damaging cars, so keep an eye on that.

the highway is an exciting drive especially at night. after 7pm the traffic light doesn't work, so you can come across cars from the opposite direction in the one-way tunnel!
