  Methven Resort is by far one of the cleanest places my partner and I have stayed.
  We’ve spent the past year travelling all across New Zealand and this place has been at the top of the list.
  We intended on staying a single night and have now decided to stay for almost a month.
  The friendliest staff we have met and that goes for all of the staff that work here.
  Everything was cleaned thoroughly.
  With the bonus of free wifi and TV and free parking!! it is an absolute steal for the price and would happily pay 3x the amount we have to be here.
  Cheers to all the staff and we highly recommend this resort.
  To also include the fact we have two of our young girls with us and the staff have been nothing but accomodating to that fact we couldn’t recommend this place enough.

  Great service! Very nice and very helpful staff as we had locked ourselves out of our rooms, they quickly sent someone to help. Beds were very comfy as well.

  First of all, the staff is amazing here!! Felt the warm welcomed as soon as we got to the counter. Breakfast is mainly the same everyday which we got a little bored staying here for five nights but other then that, the room was nice and cozy and they also have a bus to get up to mt.Hutt which was very convenient for us.!

  This is an old Hotel in Methven , very closed town centre . The cafe shop / bar might be closed during my visit at day time in End June and End July 2023 . The swimming pool & hot pool has been closed for long long time . The front counter was open after pressing the bell . I couldn't see any room services and servant around the hotel . I would say this is a quite hotel , the quality of accommodation is not good but competitive price , car parks is very large and enough , you could enjoy the Thai foods in the town center , the open hour is around 17:00pm up to 22:00pm per day , not very far from this hotel .
  If you just want to stay a night and no other requirement in Methven , this is a good choice . Very cheap .

  Lovely building. Pools are being renovated so closed. Lack of staff meant restaurant and bar were shut. Pity as its a beautiful bar. Only cups and glasses in room. No plates at all!! No electric blanket tho wall heater kept us warm. Very clean room. Staff very helpful bringing extra towel when asked. A grand old lady now having quiet times. Should run a weekend Disco as a great dance floor.

  It's not Andino. But they do have great features for children. Bar is never open. They have hot pool & lap pool!

  For the price and location, it's great. 3x hot tubs, drying rooms for the snow gear, friendly service from staff. Very helpful. Shuttles from front door.

  Staff member was great considering the circumstances she was working under. Hot Pools were cold. Hot water in rooms luke warm. No bar open and restaurant closed. Felt like I was staying in an abandoned resort.
