Beautiful ocean view on a good day. Food is pretty good however the only downside is that we waited for almost an hour to get our food. 😓

Always great. Good service, ever changing counter selection, decent food and coffee. Awesome location right on the beach. Be prepared to wait for a table at peak times.

Been here once. The queue was LONG. (Two flights of stairs). But this was the weekend so that’s possibly why. But it took around 15 mins for us to get a table. We chose to sit outside. Really amazing view of the beach.

Had the haloumi bagel and the house-sitting crumpets. Both were great! Whatever they do to those tomatoes on that bagel deserves a Nobel peace prize because you can't be unhappy after eating them. The crumpets were fluffy and warm, with amazing honey and has given me a newfound respect for ricotta. 11/10 would recommend.

The epitome of NZ urban cool. Room for everyone, all ages, all sizes. A touch of yesteryear kitsch with a taste of tomorrow. Definitely worth a look

I really loved this cafe! I came in after 2 PM on a Saturday and didn't have to wait to be served. They had vegan options for lunch and even used oat milk in my turmeric chai latte! (they also do soy, almond and rice milk). The staff are cool and seem to all be good friends, which makes the environment fun and electric. The interior looks retro/vintage, but the view of the beach is what gives this place its magical touch.

The wait for the food is long but the view is lovely on a bright sunny day! (especially when the lifeguards are out training). The snickers milkshake is awesome!

Service has dropped. Slow, seperate arrival of drinks. Slow or no basics. I'm not talking about a 45min kitchen delay as that's to be expected if busy or whatever.
Great vibe and good kiwi styled Cafe. Fantastic views of our rugged coast line in both sunny and variable weathered days.
Food is good and varied. Great thick shakes!
It does get busy and by busy I mean a queue that almost gets its own post code on weekends.

Firm favorite breakfast/lunch cafe in wellington for me! Awesome food, both cabinet and cooked. Coffees are on point as are the staff. Be aware, very popular and at peak times expect to wait for a table. It is however well worth waiting!

The orange and date scones are the best. Moist and very flavoursome. On the weekend you need to get in early as they are often gone by 10-11am.

Really great place. Wonderful view decent food. A tad hectic with how popular it is, get a feel that you can't sit and enjoy food, woof it down and get out so others can eat. Can't be helped tho. Would recommend

Food is good, staff friendly and they had sunblock and hats for us when sat outside. I was however disappointed by the 10% surcharge on a public holiday. The cafe was full and people were queuing down the stairs to get in. They can't suggest they were running at a loss.
