KOURA PRODUCTS is a small home based product range by Mother & Daughter. Our main ingredient we work with is New Zealand's native Kawakawa Tree, which has many benefits if used properly including skin disorders such as eczema & psoriasis to easing arthritic/gout pain and many more.
The Kawakawa Tree has been used for centuries for all of the healing agents it has to offer, at KOURA, we have modernised the use of it by making balms, salves, ointments etc which is more effective & quicker than using it the original way.

BEHIND OUR NAME & LOGO:
In the Maori language, Koura means 'fresh water crayfish'. To me a Koura is natural, fresh & a delicacy which I would like these products to be for everyone who uses them.
Our Logo KOURA is blue, which represents my East Coast whanau. My Dad was born & bred in a small town called Rangitukia & we still travel back as much as we can.
On the inside of the writing is Maori & Samoan patterns, which represents my Mother who hails from Alipata Samoa. We take pride in who we are & where we come from so it only seemed right to name & include our business in with our culture. The small KOURA inside the 'O' represents our small venture that we are embarking on, & hopefully it will flourish in time.
If you look beneath our name, 'Kreating OUR Aotearoa' is written. The 'K' in KREATING stands for modernised times (texting etc) because we have modernised old Maori medicine. The 'Kreating OUR Aotearoa' means that we are working with New Zealand's native plants to create our own natural remedies.
