We've stayed here a couple of times. Clean, affordable accommodation and handy to town.

Extremely friendly and helpful. Chilled atmosphere, peaceful, lots of trees. Toilets etc are spotlessly clean. Really good!

I camped here on the bank of the river. We arrived 10 min to close on New Years Eve and the gentleman at the counter was amazing taking care of us. Thanks for giving us room in your inn! The facilities were very clean, camp ground is pretty, well groomed, surrounded by bush. I will come back here.

The cabin proved comfortable, if not especially homely. Thankfully the decking overlooked a relaxing area. Right next to the centre of town, so great location for dining out, cinema etc

Got there staying for one night, 20NZD per person. The bathrooms have been clean but basic. So was the kitchen equipped with nothing more but heat plates and microwaves. No oven. No cutlery. No cooking pans or pots. Located is this campground at the very end of the road down at a very steep hill. Pretty big area close a river. Bring insect repellent as there are loads of midgets.
