Absolutely amazing location! The service was second to none, with staff helping in every way. A couple of negatives: Beds were very soft, with no 'pillow menu' that i saw, and the pool and sauna area closed a bit early at 10pm. Because of this we never got to experience these facilities over the 3 nights we stayed. 11pm would have been better. The spa was also out of order our entire stay. Shower pressure was also quite low. Aircon also didn't go low enough in temperature (control locked at 19⁰c). But on the positive, buffet breakfast was always amazing 👌 and the grounds were very well kept.

Great hotel with stunning view. The lakeview room had a balcony overlooking wharf and the lakeside walkway. Swimming pool and sauna were great to relax and recharge after each night. We enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace in the room. They kindly let us check in early and check out later! The only downside is that this place little far from the town to those who want to be located within walking distance. Water taxi is handy but they don’t operate too frequently during weekdays. It didn’t bother us too much though and overall we had a great experience.

Spa pool cold the first night, warm the second night and then cold again on the 3rd morning. This was a couple months ago now I can see the spa is still closed? Other than that I loved the food, free upgrade to a room with a fireplace and lake view! Really did enjoy my stay but what drew me in was the spa and pool. I’ll happily book again if I can be assured these facilities will be usable!

The service was amazing, especially at the restaurant. Beautiful location, bit far from town but the water taxi seems to mainly service the Hilton and tours etc seem to pick up from the Hilton directly. The only let down was the rooms and daily room cleaning. Had to call to get new towels/room cleaned. The rooms themselves could use a bit of TLC but was otherwise nice. Aldo, the spa pool was out of service. For the price you kind of expect more though. The beauty spa was really amazing, I've never been so relaxed!

    Our stay here was exceptional!
The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and understanding, you all made our stay perfect, thank you for everything!
The rooms were really spacious, the bed was super comfortable, and the toilet was clean.
The view from the room was breathtaking.
The facilities (pool, sauna, and steam room) are beautiful, easy to access, and available most of the time.
The lobby it's welcoming to having a glass of wine by the fire.
I recommend it and I will stay here again.

A lovely hotel with helpful staff and brilliant rooms. We spent the night in Milford Sound between two nights at this hotel, and the hotel was happy to look after our bags for us whilst we were away. The hotel is across the river from Queesntown, but there is a $10 per person water taxi, or a free shuttle bus.

Absolutely amazing customer service. Beautiful hotel with great views, fabulous pool and spa area. Feels like a luxury holiday from the moment you arrive. Highly recommended for couples seeking a spacious room with a fire place, great restaurants and slightly out of the main town area. Will definitely be staying here when we return to Queenstown.

:: Lakeside, Luxury and comfortable ::

The hotel is very large and very complex inside the building. You can get lost easily to and from your room to the restaurant during breakfast!

The room is very large and spacious with every luxury things you could expect from Hilton. I went there during late winter while the weather is still pretty cold but the automatic gas fireplace was very warm, not to mention the heated bathroom floor which is so comfortable.

However, the free WiFi is not too fast but usable.

The location is about 30 minutes from city centre but only 5 minutes to the airport. If you like to shopping and have a walk around town after dinner, this is not the place for you unless you have a car but if you prefer quiet and peaceful environment by the lakeside this is one of the best choices in Queenstown.

From the time you pull up in front of the Hilton you feel special.. the valet opens your door, greets you and shows you to reception. The hotel itself is lovely, very relaxed and quiet for those romantic get aways.
The staff are lovely! Housekeeping would leave a lovely note and is to in return when leaving the room. The room itself was beautiful. Loved the heated flooring in the bathroom. Would've loved more of a kitchen eg microwave for food brought home from dinner but other than that it's a great experience.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. There are a lot of choices throughout Queenstown but I'm so happy we chose the Hilton. The view from our room was incredible and all the staff members have been so kind. Room services for our apartment was so sweet and left little touches that we really appreciated. Being from another country, there is something comforting about what to expect at the Hilton. They have cafes, restaurants, spas, steam rooms, pools and even a water taxi that we used to get to town. We loved it and would come back in a heartbeat.

Awesome hotel. Valet parking makes going in and out of town a breeze. Everyone is wonderfully nice and the room was fantastic . Pretty view of the lake from the patio as well

Honestly..where do I start? The Hilton is probably the most value for.money I've come across. Lovely rooms with complimentary access to the hotel pool, gym and sauna. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have several different restaurants etc. Such a great place to come for a couple of nights break at a very reasonable price with plenty to keep you entertained without leaving the property. Highly recommend!

One of the highlights of our trip! Such an amazing place to be with beautiful rooms and remarkable customer service from the staff. They have various restaurants in the hotel to choose from so you will find something you like. Spa and swimming pool facilities are also available along with a gym. The rooms are really clean and have outstanding views of the remarkables mountains and also of Queenstown! Highly Recommended!

5 star service, extremely clean and very very nice. The rooms are a good size (we had a lakeside view room) and the bathroom is clean and massive. It was so nice we decided to have cheese and crackers with salad and wine for dinner whilst watching the sun set from our room. The only downside is that you have to pay nzd15 for valet parking. If not there is free self parking in the double tree Hilton next door. This was a great redemption from the amex platinum reserve card.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is situated a little far from the town of Queenstown but the location is nice and provides a nice view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Some of the hallways and rooms need better upkeep but overall it is a nice hotel.

Outside of town - there's a bus or a water taxi you can take to city center (around 10 each). The hotel was not very accommodating, no early check-in or late check-out. The fireplaces are nice. The views are great in lakeview rooms. Bathrooms have separate sinks, a shower and a tub, but only one piece of soap and one set of shampoo/conditioner/shower gel is provided, which seems like a deliberate money saving measure. I know it's trifling, but it's these types of seemingly trivial details that affect the overall impression and experience.

March 2016 We stayed 6 nights in this beautiful property. Every night the drinkers on the outdoor patio that all rooms face were allowed to rave until way after normal people want to sleep. Since this is a high class top price hotel one would hope that a quiet sleeping environment would be the priority. You will love this place If listening to drunks til way late and having to shut your balcony doors and install earplugs to attain quiet is why you travel half way around the world! It was a nightly battle for peace! If you want noise you might get the same amount of it cheaper at one if the backpacker hostels in Queenstown itself.
