I have 2 kids at Highfield School,and they love going to school,I’ve found the teachers they have had to be great.Our school experience at Highfield School has been good.

I really had a bad time at Highfield, starting at finding 2 week old milk in my desk, to someone ejaculating in the bathrooms sink, disgusting. I had some good times though in the tent with other boys. Highfield didn't set me up for High school either, as now I'm in the "Cab-Class". That was very poor Highfield, as I didn't get any chance to expand my knowledge. Highfield ruined my childhood, and if i could go back, I would have begged to go to Waimataitai because I don't like being known as a rat.
I rate a 2 out of 5, thanks anyway.

I find it very difficult to review this school nicely, as quite frankly, my daughter who went there was very disappointed from this school. For one, the personal hygiene throughout the school was appalling, my daughter frequently had colds and flu's, from this inhumane environment. Our family is highly Christian, so when she came home talking about "floppy Penises", and "Sperm", at only the age of 10 I was very worried. Even worse, she told me that the teachers had taught her that! That is completely unacceptable, especially for a 7 year old adolescent.
I am very disappointed of this school, and I would consider this school a last resort, for Timaru's standards.
