Description

Welcome to Hairy Monsters! Hairy Monsters will offer a full pet grooming service for your pooch, cat and even your bunny rabbit. If you have found your pet's coat has got a wee bit beyond you, I am here to help. I am happy to work with you and teach you basic grooming and clippering techniques. My service differs a little from other grooming services in that you are welcome to stay with your pooch if you wish. You may participate in your pets care or offer comfort and reassurance to your wee dog. If you've bought a set of clippers (and many of my customers have!) and are unsure about how to use and care for them - bring them too.
Grooming rates are very reasonable and start from $25 (that includes shampoo, blow dry, clipper and nail care). If you are a busy working dog owner, leave your pooch with me for the day to play in the garden with my boys (I have a Spoodle and a Shih Tzu).
I also offer a "compassionate" grooming service - rescued pets will be attended to for no fee.

Now a wee bit about me. I have been preparing myself for the role of pet groomer for a number of years now. To gain the necessary skill and experience, I have volunteered to work in kennels, catteries, SPCA and in a local small animal sanctuary. Formal qualifications include National Certificate in Animal care (NCAC) and Veterinary Nursing (CVN). Recent Statement of Achievement in Dog and Animal Grooming (iCloud Learning) and I am also a Registered Nurse RN.
*I love the work that I'm doing and look forward to working with you to keep your pooch looking beautiful!

* Remember -Your veterinarian must be consulted with any concerns you may have about your pet. Only the veterinarian may diagnose and prescribe treatment.
