Outstanding food in a hip restaurant tucked into a housing development near Lake Hayes. We arrived just before 10:30am on a Sunday, and people were already sitting at tables outside waiting for the restaurant to open. Staff seemed a little disorganized but it didn't affect our visit.
Good food with great service
Rang to reserve table for lunch. Accepted. Rang to say running a little late. "Thanks for letting us know". Arrived, no record of reservation. Ordered soup, mushroom, cilantro and turmeric with Ciabatta. Almost flavourless. Tiny serving, could have been hotter, and ciabatta was plain piece cut off the end of loaf, no butter. Disappointing and lowest rated cafe we have visited this week in South Island. Offered as constructive criticism.
Delicious fresh food. Had the pancakes and muesli for breakfast, top quality. Good hot drinks as well
A nice cafe in the middle of Lake Hayes Estate. The menu has a decent range to choose from, and all of it is good quality food. Despite being a little on the not-so-cheap side, it's definitely worth it.
Nice local restaurant/ pub away from the busy streets of town
You wouldn't expect the nice hill views as it seems to be in a residential are. Attentive friendly staff provides you with some help if you're spoiled for choice.
Plenty of space sitting outside on the deck or inside behind huge windows or open doors.
Great coffee just a good 15 minutes walk from home
Nice place, Very kind (and beautiful) bartenders, good espresso.
Very cool food options! Loved the vegan Fallalfle with Chili Avocado
Food is good but a bit pricey. Coffee is awesome. Good place for kids too
Little cafe right in the middle of a neighborhood of homes. Great food and service. Even has a little grocery store next to it.
