Really cool wee aquarium. Definitely go for one of the 11am or 2pm feeding /talks It was so interesting, and really added to the value of the experience. We stroked a tuatara! Our 2 and 4 year olds loved it.

Lovely aquarium, aviary and area with Tuatara and lizards. We were given a fabulous tour and able to touch turtles, star fish and tuatara, feed fish, and meet a rescued blue penguin called tiny Tim. Really knowledgeable staff and a great way to spend an hour or two.

Cute aquarium in Picton, one of the few interesting things to visit in the small town. Was a bit pricy for what it had offered, but you had unlimited re-entry for the day. Had few cute blue penguins on exhibit.

Very expensive entry and not alot of exhibits. I would be okay if the admission were about half of what it is. The blue penguins are cute though.

Compared to a few other things I did with my partner when we were in Picton, this was the most expensive. I understand there is the cost of taking care of animals but it wasn't worth the money. The disgusting stench that greets you when you first go in is something else. The whole place needs a full clean & upgrade. There isn't enough space for the all the turtles to rest out of water. Only 4 could fit, and I felt so sorry for number 4 having to keep trying to get into a spot where it wouldn't fall back into the water. The 2 penguins looked depressed and didn't have much room to swim or to move around on some up turned boat. Didn't see any sea horses. Was such a shame

During a trip with so many phenomenal stops, this one fell a bit short. They do good work, and there were interesting things to see but for the price of admission compared to other attractions we visited in New Zealand, this one was only just okay.
