Great 2 hour trip up the gorge - and 2 hours back or by coach. We had optional packed lunch which was very nice. Scenery spectacular.

Great train journey. Coffee is good. Prepackaged food could be improved. Overall a worthwhile experience.

It is reported that this is one of the most photographed train stations in the world and if you come and see it, you will see why. If you want photos of the station without too many people in your photo, try to get a day that there isn't a cruise ship in town.

Historical architecture - as if walking back in time! The building is well kept and maintained.

Great train ride - Very relaxing. Just make sure they are departing from Dunedin station. We didn't due to track work and had a council bus ride for a 5 star experience.

The station is beautiful. There was a market on Saturday when we caught the train in March. Spectacular trip along the Gorge with a variety of impressive scenery. All the best to those affected by the floods.

One of the most photographed buildings in New Zealand and an absolute must do visit in Dunedin. Inside the entry hall the mosaic tile and figurines are top class.

Amazing views but was a very long trip. We went for four hours and that was more than enough. Once you have gone one way you can't wait to get back. There was only so many photos of the scenery you could take.
Not a bad price for 2 $125.00 for us both.

Even if you're not catching the train, hit this place up for the amazing architecture, interior tiling and decoration and the very neat flower gardens out front. Must-see stop if you're doing your own walking tour of Dunedin.
