The firm was established by La-Verne King, an experienced lawyer, who in 2007, returned home with her family to the Far North after practising law in Auckland since 1989. With 28 years legal experience, La-Verne opened her office at Taipa and has watched her firm grow from strength to strength. With the assistance of Raewyn Brown, a very experienced legal executive and recently joined by Angela Burton, Doubtless Bay Law is able to offer a wide range of legal services.
“It is important to me that people are able to call into my office, tell us what their legal issue is and for us to either take their matter on or point them in the right direction,”said La-Verne.
Offering full conveyancing services, Doubtless Bay Law is able to assist
people who are looking to buy, sell or refinance their property, draft their wills, administer the estate of their departed loved one or prepare enduring Powers of Attorney so that a client may appoint who they want to make decisions for them in the future, if required.

La-Verne has a substantial family court practice which covers just about every area of family law. Issues such as
separation, care arrangements for children and resolving relationship issues occupy much of La-Verne’s time. Coupled with her legal experience and modern technology, La-Verne uses her vast experience as a mediator to assist clients to focus on the end result and how to
achieve the same with as little disruption and stress to those involved.
