  Always great to visit our family in Amberley, we bought our BBQ meats and salad from another Chch supermarket but my avocados, although beautiful and firm were both half brown although not rotten. I had to come to your shop and they were cheaper but best of all absolutely beautiful, thank you so much, Sue Maguire xx

  Easy to find products. Great wide isles. Good selection of fresh products. Friendly and helpful service. Optional self check out. Huge car park with parking available for disabled parking and camper vans. Two different road access points. Light bright and airy.

  The Countdown supermarket is very nice, it's a shame the Hawke's Bay ones are not the same.

  Soul less store, few customers , no music and quite possibly the most temperamental self check out I hv ever encountered. All in all a joyless experience.

  Not enough checkouts working and the self checkouts are dodgy at the best. Dont expect to spend time waiting at checkouts when the place isn't that busy. Some people have more to do with their lives than wait at checkouts.
  Also fridges are dodgy. We have had 2 chilled legs of lamb from Amberley Countdown that haven't been good. In fact uneatable

  Staff are always so friendly are prompt on opening checkouts when needed. Always clean and mainly always has items in reduced to clear. Prices are unbeatable apart from the meats. So far when wanted I always find what I am looking for.
