A great place for a party.
Great day in the garden bar today. One man playing old school awesome!
The Clevedon hotel is safe haven for all lion red and Macs gold lovers alike. A place where a Thursday feels like a Sunday. A place I can truly bend thy knee. 10/10 would bend again.
Great pub with great staff and atmosphere.
Good local family friendly public house, nice friendly staff and great food
Didn't like the look of the place and left.
Good simple beer and meal spot
Went here last night to a Christmas dinner/Private Function. We has a running bar tab and so we had a yellow wrist band to show bar staff that we got free drinks. The bar staff were all ladies that were so unfriendly and didn't ever SMILE. These ladies were so STUCK UP THEMSELVES, they made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. I, myself havr managed bars and so was disgusted by their lack of customer care.
Dinner was suppose to be served at 6pm, yet we didn't get to eat until 7:30pm. Maybe they wanted us to spend heaps at the bar first. Not sure, but a booking is a booking at 6pm!!! Everyone was starving by then. That was the first disappointment and a MAJOR one. We were seated on horrible uncomforatble ugly old iron seats that looked like they'd been left out in the rain to rust, with no cushioning. Seats that had cushioning were hard anyway.
Our Christmas buffet meal we had looked forward to only consisted of 4 bain marine's, one with potatoe and kumara, one with uncooked brocolli that was SO HARD!, we doubt they cooked itone with Sliced Pork, & the best one was the Christmas Ham.
About 50 people were booked and pre-paid of course, for a Christmas meal that was SO dissappointing. The brocolli, potatoe and kumara were hardly served HOT as one should expect. One of the waiters dropped a knife on my lap,
My husband will be telling his boss at work tomorrow, never to ever book us there again. Especially for the PRICE WE PAID!!!!
Barman with mo' is not friendly. Almost openly unfriendly.
