Fantastic hotel. Big rooms with balconies and well equipped kitchen, and fantastic location a very short stroll from the very centre of Nelson. Great restaurants 5 minutes walk away.

Stayed four nights, the unit was large and extremely well appointed. Everything was spotless and clean with plenty of good quality linen. The hosts were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We had a unit close to the road but it was very quiet and warm due to the double glazing.
We would recommend Cedar grove as the best place we have stayed at in Nelson.

I should have written this earlier!!! I stayed here just after christmas in 2012 by myself, it was awesome. Everything is so close to you, the people are great and caring as ever, good to talk to. Don't even get me started about the room!!!! It was the first motor lodge I had stayed in, and the bath was just beautiful as was the shower. The bed was very comfortable! Loved the tv with dvd player (I just went and bought dvd's to watch from the warehouse) and I even loved the balcony! I can't wait to stay here again :) thank you guys so much!

Quality and attention to detail all the way. Excellent value, Great amenities, Great location. Shared a glass of red on the balcony with a friendly neighbour. Perfect end to a sunny day.Thank you
