Went to Brydon for birthday,looking forward to a great experience ,sad to say was the worst night I have had for a meal experience.
When you are the only ones there for a meal you wonder why.
Will not go again and will pass onto others .
Oamaru is a small place so doesn't take long for the word to get around
Money is hard to get for us kiwis.
Really disappointed

Location is good and staff were very friendly. It was a budget price but place really needs refurbishing. Mattress was horrible, floors creaked, and ' furnishings' are gloomy. Also not possible to take elevator from reception to room. Ended up taking elevator down to reception and walking around building to parking. They do have complimentary WiFi and parking. There is also a bar/ cafe but we did not use it.

the Hotel is good and price performance is OK. We had a good bar experience. Due to that experience we did not take any notice of the earthquake happening the same night. The hotel is very large and can accommodate a lot of tourists. Parking is behind the hotel is for free but outside. It was Sunday when we arrived. So many restaurants very just closed. It could help a lot to find better restaurants particularly for Sunday evening.

Older hotel with a quaint charm. The hotel is clean and staff is friendly. If you are here on business I would not suggest due to the crippling slow Internet and 250mb cap.
