Delicious food, friendly staff. They offer modern, trendy dishes but also the breakfast/lunch classics. Excellent coffee and plenty of options for vegetarians, vegans and other diets. Convenient location too, across the street from the i-SITE, so parking is no problem

Love love it hea great coffee n food so yummy to eat love the array of salads add a poached egg pack a punch for the day. Great staff too my friend is a regular

Don't see what all of the negative comments are about. Great little place awesome scones and cabinet food and great coffee. Service is friendly and non intrusive

Great little spot for coffee and breakfast. We tried some of their new coffee creations, and they were really good, with a bit of a kick to them. The Eggs Benedict was great, and the beef mince tasted fantastic. Service was also very good.

Friendly cafe, good customer service, with great vegan and veggie - and other healthy - options. I had the Egg Florentine, with salmon for 19 NZD.

Arguably the best café / restaurant in Taupo. A must visit restaurant in Taupo town. The food is deliciously amazing. You'll enjoy each and every dish. The service is just fantastic and they do come ask a feedback. Totally loved it. I wish they had a branch in Auckland, I would visit all the time I go there.

It was greatly hyped up by locals and online reviews..... Hype that wasn't met in this instance. Mexi bowl wasn't terrible, but it lacked flavour. Was pretty stock standard stuff. Partner had a venison burger where the patty was the only good thing. It had no substance and was creating a pool of liquid on his plate. Grated carrot was not needed.
Staff were nice enough, but it wasn't a memorable service experience.
Coffee is nice, one of the few good ones in the area. But I would go to cafe 99 every time -

Decent food, on the slightly expensive side for lunch but only because they seem to use good ingredients. Seems to always be very loud and crowded though.

Friendly service, delicious hearty food. Came here for brunch this morning. I had the corn fritters (GF) and my boyfriend had the Kiwi Breakfast. He said the Kiwi Breakfast was the best brunch he has ever eaten. It was definitely the star dish. Coffee is good and there are loads of ready to eat options. He's still taking about how good it was.

Fantastic brunch and coffee and staff is extremely friendly. We had Huevos Rancheros and Mexi Scramble and even grabbed a pumpkin scone and vegi frittata to go for lunch. Stopping here was the BEST decision of our trip :)
