Great spot. Worth the stop if ever driving between Dunedin and Queenstown or Wanaka.
fantastic hospitality you really must try the local Dawn Ghost Pinot noir and the Drumsara Pinot Gris and Rose yum
the food is amazing and big for a great price the people are lovely they gave my mum a tour of the bedrooms and in the meantime they put me in a $7,000 massage chair in a new restaurant that they are still making a great restaurant for the family to enjoy
All experiences there have been great. Most accommodating hosts. This particular visit was for water which I received free in a coffee cup given that they did not sell bottled water.
The food! Oh the food was awesome!! Rooms were lovely. Nice outdoor area. Will be back again for sure.
Without a doubt this is the best pub in town. A mere jiffy after entering the front door you are crowned a local, given a lifetime membership and endowed with a deep sense of pride in rugby.
The barman/bouncer is friendly and quick to the pour and is at the ready with a story of the town.
This is a proper genuine pub and should be a stop for a Central Otago - actually, ANY NZ trip.
Not your average pub lunch! Real good food.
A must place to visit stay and have a great meal. Fabulous manager and his wife
A great wee spot with friendly service and very good food.
This place boasts some amazing hospitality and a friendly atmosphere. The themed rooms and outdoor dining area really helped us relax after our second leg of the Otago Rail Trail. Much recommended
