I had a pregnancy massage at 30 weeks. I have had a pretty breezy pregnancy so far, but I had been feeling tension in my shoulders and back for about a week or two. The massage was absolutely fantastic. I left with all the tension and stress removed from my shoulders and back. The room was lovely and warm and the bed was warmed too. In fact, I had to ask for it to be turned down because I got too hot (I run hot anyways). When I got home I promptly fell asleep for 90 minutes. It was just what I needed. I am very much looking forward to my next appointment and have booked an extra one in between now and the birth because it is well worth it.

I cannot rave about Bella Mama enough! By far the best massage I’ve ever had! This was kindly gifted to me from a friend for my baby shower and I would have paid for it and more it was that good! The staff are so friendly, attentive and experienced. From the very beginning to the end it was incredible. Always checking in to see if I was okay and very aware and sensitive to how pregnant I was. Room was so warm and cosy. They have parking on site which is essential for a pregnant mama.

Absolutely incredible experience! Never have I ever felt so looked after and pampered than when I had a massage with Bella Mama. Even though I was early on in my pregnancy when I first visited they took the utmost care to ensure I was comfortable. I left on cloud 9 feeling totally pampered and relaxed. Highly recommend to any expecting mama who needs some self care and pampering. Can't wait to come back next week for another massage and pamper session!!

Beautiful space, clean, peaceful and relaxing. I had both a pregnancy and a postnatal massages. They were amazing. Mamta was my therapist for both of them. She's simply the best, so gentle and caring. She also knows when to put some more pressure where needed.

Best massage I have ever had! Sooo relaxing and the massage therapist took such good care of me, making sure I was comfortable the whole time. Will definitely be coming here again. If you are stuck on what to buy a pregnant mama - get her a voucher for this place!

Bridget Douglas-Brown is such a gem! A fabulous, fabulous massage practitioner with a real understanding of the body and how to work with pregnant women. Such a lovely experience, I totally recommend a massage with her.

We attended "2 secrets of a joyful post partum"
and as a dad to be, Jo inspired me with many practical ways I can help my partner recover and for us to enjoy the "4th trimester" as a new family.
Drawing on many different cultural perspectives, Jo did a great job of highlighting the similarities between all of them when it comes to helping a new mum.
I also really appreciated her honesty regarding the challenges and joys of post partum, and came away wanting to "treat her like a queen"!

Enjoying that course, we decided to do the "Massage in Pregnancy and Birth" workshop.
In just a few short hours, I learned basic techniques to massage my partner and relieve pain. After an easy to follow and fun afternoon, I can now give my partner simple but effective and relaxing massages. It's good to have a step-by-step plan to follow. My partner definitely appreciates it!
Both courses were enlightening and gave me confidence in my role as dad to be.response / report this review -

At 25 weeks pregnant and caught up in labour n pregnancy etc. I was recommended Bella mama as a good place for some pre baby r & r. Upon browsing their website I discovered they offered a Postpardum workshop oh gosh I hadnt even thought that far ahead.
After successfully convincing hubby to come along. We instantly had our eyes opened to all that lies ahead.. up to that point we had only concentrated on the labour and birth! we are and will be eternally grateful for attending this workshop.
Jo Hogan who hosted the workshop is the Bella of Mamas, You could see her passion for this topic flowing as she spoke and her enthusiasm and excitement for each person attending and made us think of our own unique journey postpardum and building our "village".
From this we looked more and more into what we wanted it to look like for us.. and we very eagerly asked JO to be part of it and hired her as our Postpardum Doula. we are now 8 weeks in and having JO a part of it with us is an absolute delight. She has made us feel so special, pampered, loved and nourished (literally. she is such a great chef) filling our house with smiles, our bodies with tender massages and encouraging us every step of the way. Do not hesitate to contact Bella Mama it is a step you will be ever so grateful for.

I went the Bella Mama for the first time today and it was fantastic. I felt so relaxed afterwards. The side position is perfectly comfortable and the beds are really soft. The staff were all very friendly and thoughtful. They offer tea or water on arrival. After the massage, you have lots of time to get up and get back on your feet. Jenny gave a professional and soothing massage. Highly recommended. I will be back in a few weeks for sure!

This place came highly recommended from a friend. I honestly did not believe it could possibly be as good as she made it out to be. Turned out it was even better!!! Lovely experienced staff, beautiful clean space and a relaxing environment- these guys have thought of it all. Had my treatment with Bridget who was so very kind, applied the perfect amount of pressure and managed to work out kinks I didn't even realise I had. Will definitely be back soon!!

I have been to a lot of massage places and this place wins hands down every time! Only a 10 min drive from town and so worth it. They
really focus on the areas of discomfort and their extra care,
advice and attention to detail is really appreciated. Every time I go I end up getting another voucher, I just can't help it! Makes a lovely gift for your loved one, even as a treat for yourself 😀.
