Hairdresser: Your eyebrows are looking a bit long, do you want me to trim them?
Me: What? Really? Oh, um, no.
Hairdresser: Are you sure? I'll just take a bit off the length, they're looking a bit bushy.
Me: Oh. OK. Ah, no. No thank you. That's alright.
5 minutes later
Hairdresser: Sorry, but its really bothering me. I'll just [bzzzzt]
Me: [stoney slience]
Hairdresser: hope that's OK.
Me: [more stoney silence]

This was in their first week. Im sure they are fine now and probably do a good job. Can't remember what the haircut looked like.

Awesome place, team leader at New Lynn was warm and pleasant and Omar did an amazing job on my beard, Mohawk and razor cut sides. Really went the extra mile and I was extremely happy with the result (See pictures). If Omar was allowed to thread my ears/eyebrows and light my ears then it would be a 6/5 it would be the experience I’ve had with several middle eastern/Jordanian barbers I’ve experienced in Thailand and South east Asia - a full male grooming service. Please consider it guys, we need that in NZ and no one does it. That said I’ll most definitely be back and plan to come back every week for Omar to tidy me up and have me looking perfect. Extremely happy!
