This hotel is just fantastic. The beautiful rooms, the amazing bar, the incredible views and most of all the beautiful staff. We had a large group and stayed for a number of days. Nothing was ever a problem and they smiled constantly even when under pressure. The food was great and the bar is beautiful. I would strongly recommend it as the best place to stay in Queenstown.

It's our third time staying at Kamana, every year we came here during the ski season. The dry room is absolutely convenient for us, the bed is very comfy, staffs are friendly, hot pool is the best after days of skiing.every morning when we step out of the room we can see the amazing mountain view.
There used to be buffet breakfast, they served kombucha as well, I really miss that. Foods are great.

Modern rooms and amenities, spectacular views. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Close enough to town to make it easy but far enough it’s not busy.

We had a lovely stay at Kamana as part of our Honeymoon. The staff were lovely and super helpful, the room was beautiful and clean, and the views were amazing. We particularly loved admiring the sunrise views from the restaurant over an early breakfast. Cannot fault anything and look forward to staying again! :)

Staff are really helpful. They will attend to your problems pretty much straight away. Reception and housekeeping especially Phillip have extraordinary customer service skills. My issue however, is to do with cleanliness. Will they make sure your room is throughly cleaned and vacuumed before the guests arrive? Will and do they change sheets between guests? Do they provide a full service which includes making the bed as well???

Super nice hotel with great views depending on what room you get. But the restaurant gets a complete view of the mountains over the lake. Didn't have enough parking for one night but it was ok as we just parked on the main street. Woke up surprised one morning to find it snowed which made for great photos over the rooftops. If you get the shuttle bus make sure you fully wave down the driver as the driver didn't notice us standing outside waving. We just drove into town anyway but it was a bit of a hassle. Either way nice staff and nicer rooms.

The lakeview rooms have just been renovated and look stunning but it all does not compare to the amazing views of the lake and the mountains. The staff is very friendly and helpfull, breakfast was good and the restaurant and bar have the same stunning views as the room! I would definately recommend staying here when you visit Queenstown.

Restaurant was nice but expensive. pool and spa that we booked the hotel for was closed. Internet is 1gh per room and vanished without us using it. Has potential but is let down

Nearly electrocuted with a faulty wall socket. Shower wall had a rotten hole in it. Door was broken. Spoke to staff who had no interest in our concerns, said sorry but the renovations haven't started yet.

Was disappointed to discover the hotel uses two different bar prices; a secret 'locals' price for people who live in the neighbourhood and a more expensive 'guest' price.
The result is non-guests are attracted to the bar where they occupy the limited resources of the staff at the detriment to hotel guests, add to that the insult of being charged more for drinks. If you want to attract locals to the bar, that's fine, but don't simultaneously charge full fee paying guests more for drinks, it's both decietful and dishonest.

Pros:
Amazing view and service in bar\dining room.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Good housekeeping
Reasonable price
Quiet location away from centre of town.
Cons:
Wifi and TV service is weak and cuts out.
Spa needs fixing. One jet was working properly when I used it.
For a 3.5 star hotel the dinner menu is a tad overpriced.

Breakfast poor selection.
Movie selection poor. Internet and Rv reception weak and kept turning off.
