  My partner and I had the pleasure to stay at Ashworth Gardens very recently whilst travelling through this beautiful part of the country. Our hosts, Allan and Isabel, were very welcoming and made our short stay extremely enjoyable. They have a lovely home with enviable beautiful gardens. We first noticed Ashworth Gardens a few months back as we cycled past whilst doing the amazing Clutha Gold Cycle trip with 2 other friends. We all commented then that we wish we had known beforehand about the possibility of staying in Millers Flat at the Ashworth's. So, our advice to fellow travellers, cyclists or not, would be to consider this a possible stop over point during your journey - the pub across the historic bridge does a very good evening meal whilst Allan and Isabel will see you right regarding your breakfast before you cycle/drive off again! We would definitely stay again and look forward to the chance to do so in the future. Thanks again for your hospitality! Helen and Chris

  My family and I stayed at Ashworth Gardens for a night on the way through from Queenstown to Dunedin. It was lovely, the hospitality and location were both brilliant. And the Ashworth Garden itself is an absolute must see, my wife and I took several 'must get' plant recommendations away from our visit.
