  Three-storey, brick building in Edwardian Italianate style with plaster festoon decoration, designed by Charles H.Roberts c.1907-08 and production home of the Southland Times for over one hundred years.
  In good condition.
  Significance: Listed; high streetscape and architectural values through its high quality, grand Edwardian aesthetic and threestorey height. Strong historical and cultural values from its construction for, and association with, the Southland Times throughout the twentieth century.
