Tower is old and need to be renovated. The rusty stairs and structure seems vulnerable with too many people on top at same time. View is awesome though.

Nagarkot is located in Nepal. It is famous for the fact that to see Himalayas from the highest mountains in the world can be seen from here, while the sun is rising. Visitors from around 4 in the morning continue to crowd around here. When sunrise occurs, the color of the snow covered the Himalayas. Himalaya changes color in a very short time. The whole Himalayas became shining But if there is a thick cloud in the sky, then the scene is not so good. Tourists go to Nagarkot to see this beautiful scene in clear sky.

360 views of the Himalayas, Kathmandu valley, lush forests. Though view is visible weather permitting only. Nice tea shops available.

awesome views but don't go early morning to catch sunrise that is impossible since it's foggy most of the time and can't see any thing . so be there only after 8 am. during summer check with local guide or your hotel for idle time.

Most popular view tower of kathmandu valley. You can get a very good 180 degree view of mountains in the north in clean atmosphere. You can also organize picnic, hike, cycle downhill ride, etc. 1 night stay is very popular in nearby luxurious hotels where you can enjoy beautiful sunrise the next morning.

First check the weather before sign in here as the magnificent views are blocked by haze. If lucky you can get one on one with all natural beauty.....roads are not that welcoming for two wheelers though.

Awesome place to chill, literally. Its windy up there. You can also check out some mountains and hills. The view from the tower is amazing. But the place is sort of messy; needs to be maintained timely.

Road between Kathmandu to Nagarkot is not so good.. construction is under process... Nagarkot is very small hill station.. sunrise point is awesome... first rays of sun mix with Everest mountain and look white mix with orange...only one hotel is pure vegetarian i.e The Mountain Paradise...the staff is humble and kind...they prepared veg food for us at 8 pm when everything is shut... explore this place if like travel

Place to see one of the best sunrise in Nepal... You will find shops nearby for good organic breakfast... But you will have to leave early if you want a place on the tower, otherwise you'll have to wait for your turn and you will surely miss the best moments...

Not so great view actually. Can get better view from other places. Small area and the tower looks like it may break anytime. Few people can go up.

Being one of the closest hill station from the valley and one of the most frequently visited spot by the local tourists,it should be maintained properly. The tower itself isnt stable. The scenery however is mind boggling if you have chosen the right day.Its a great outing for picnics and weekend drive!

1 of the most beautiful place I've ever seen. You could see the sun rising and also the Himalayan Range from here. It's place for absolute solace.

Great views for dawn on the Hymalayas.
There is a small viewing tower but it gets easily packed.
Under it there is a large fenced lawn with nice views though some trees block little parts of it.

Very busy place. The bolts have started to come loose. So, tower is a bit shaky. Nice views of surroundings and mountains.

Good place, and excellent view but very crowded, and seemed quite un-safe.
The view tower also is very old and requires immediate renovation.
Chances of an accident is emminent.
Also self feel that a life-guard or some sort of security guard is required at site, to control/restrict the crowd and number of persons climbing up to the tower at a time.

Nagarkot View Tower is situated at about 45 minutes walk from the hilly town, Nagarkot. Private vehicles and taxis can go upto the base of the tower. Situated at an altitude of about 2000 m Nagarkot View Tower gives a magnificent view of the entire snow clad Himalayan range. Particularly, around sunrise the entire range glows in orange/golden color. A sight worth seeing and remembering.
The best time to see the magnificent view is between October and November. At other times of the year the view is often blocked by clouds and fog.

This is a good place for people to get away from their busy schedules. It is not so far from the capital and you can go there for a day ride or you can travel there by bus so it's convenient to get there. The weather is very cool especially in summer so you also can visit there from rejuvinating you from within and let you feel the nature. There are few shops here so you can easily get food and drinks to enjoy with your friends and family.

It is great place in Nagarkot. From the view point you can see the wide surrounding places. You can take snacks available in the shops on the foot of the peak.

Good view of mountains from the top, if the sky is clear. The village view on the way to view tower is nice.

The Nagarkot Tower. It is mostly crowded with people swirling like ants around sugar. You supposed to be there. Hell ya! just remember you are not drunk the night before cuz you got to be there early morning to watch the sunrise. You better not sleep if you can't get up . But if you never been there , then I just gave you the magic formula for you if you can't sleep.
