This is an amazing place in beautiful weather of Nepal. This is a large city of the hills with historical and religious values. The charikot Bazar is located in Dolakha district of central region Nepal. Every kind of hotels and restaurants are available here to serve you lodging and fooding facilities. Also you can take variety in breakfast. The Dolakha Bhimsen Mandir, Kalinchowk Bhagawati mandir are famous religious places located near this place. Dolakha Bhimsen Mandir is in the east part of the city where you have to travel for about 15 minutes in a vehicle. Bhimsen is a son of pandava who is worshipped here. Kalinchowk Bhagawati mandir is located in the northern part of Dolakha district. Thousands of people reach there every day with the motive of worship also to feel the cool weather and enjoy snow. You can reach Kuri village just at the bottom of hills of kalinchowk Bhagawati temple.the Kuri village is famous for campaigning. The chaikot Bazar is the most developed Bazar or a city of Nepal. It has hospitals,schools,army camps and most importantly bus stand to travel to the capital of the country Kathmandu. I have stayed in charikot for a night and I was so amazed with the local food, places,helpful people and most importantly the view of Mount Gaurishankar in the morning and the sunshining.

Charikot bazzar headquarters of Dolkha District have Fresh air, cool climate, great view of nature. But condition of road is worst from Khadichaur to Charikot. Very bad experience. I suggest to take alternative BP highway if you are planning to travel to charikot.
