Amazing Place with good views of the Valley. You can hire a boat from lakeside and then hike up to the stupid, walk the trail up from damside or cycle up from Devi's Falls and take the single track down. This is the only mountain bike single track in Pokhara. If you need to let the legs rest rent a scooter or hire a taxi. You won't be disappointed once you reach the World Peace Pagoda.

You can get the view of this holy place while staying at Pokhara, no matter where you stay at Pokhara. This place stands top of a mountain. You'll also get the full view of Pokhara city from this place.

Taxi may take Rs. 1500 as up-down fare. In my opinion, this holy place will give you the opportunity to redefine your thinking and of course, you'll feel the inner pease.

You can hike up to there or get a car and reach there. Holy place for Buddhists. For tourists, it is a nice structure to see and as well as this place have great view of Pokhara valley. However, it has hundreds and hundreds of stairs/steps. So not suitable for elderly persons.

After boating from the lakeside, we spent an hour hiking up to the World Peace Pagoda. Along the way you may find nice little cafes to have tea and coffee. The view from the top is definitely stunning, and the Pagoda truly inspires inner peace.

To get to the WPP, we rented a pedal boat from the lakeside, crossed to the other side, then hiked up on a clear trail. Entrance to the pagoda was free, it's a beautiful area with a great view on the lake from one side, and the Himalayas from the other. It was relatively quiet, no souvenir stands everywhere you look, clean and well maintained. There's a little garden area with benches where you can rest after the hike, washrooms, you'll even come across a small restaurant on your hike. It's a great way to fill half a day, very highly recommended.

Great spot for good view of the Annapurna range and lakeside area. Going early morning is better. You can walk there or take a boat across the lake and up the hill (about 1 hour walk) or take a taxi to the top.

Very relaxing and quiet place. You can enjoy a wonderful view of the Himalayas. Good energy and very peaceful. It’s worthy to hike till there.
    No fee, just free offer.
From Lakeside view to the temple it takes more or less 2 to 3 hours! Normal walking!

A beautiful temple with breathtaking views of Pokhara, Phewa lake and the surrounding foothills of the Himalayas. The high Himalayas are visible in the distance on clear days. The hike up to the temple through lush green forests is strenuous but very rewarding.

Breathtaking view of the Himalayan mountains and Pokhara. The best time to come here is 5pm-7pm. You'll get insane photos from up here. On your way down I recommend to stop by one of the restaurants, order a coffee, and soak in the magical beauty of Nepal.

We went up by car and that is why I give it only a 4 stars: the road is quite bad, but that is on the government of Nepal that seem careless about providing its citizens and tourists with good infrastructure. The temple is a large dome on top the hill, looking out on a fantastic panorama and over the lake. It is possible to climb the pagoda and circumbulate it, 4 great statues depict the life of the Buddha.

Absolutely beautiful. Reaching there just trekking from the lake is highly recommended. Also you can enjoy a coffee up the hill enjoying the city view.

If you start your hike from Lakeside it will take you about two hours. The road uphill from the other side of the hill (not the lake one) is steep, windy, and has little shade. The stupa is peaceful but there's lots of tourist who don't respect the silence sign so not the best place for meditation. Must take your shoes off before going up the stairs. If you want to catch a glimpse of the mountains better go early in the morning since the haze usually sets in by early afternoon (April).

A must visit place when you go to Pokhara. Starting with a beautiful and comfortable hike, the final view is mind blowing. The sense of peace one feels there can't be described. Beautiful weather and breeze make it all the more awesome.

You get such an immense inner peace of mind here. The cool breeze from the mountains and the ambiance, with Buddha in front of you reminding the love and compassion for all beings. I did the uphill hiking through the forest to reach the pagoda and trust me the forest hike was worth it. If you are nature lover, you will love it. There are 2 hike routes, and i did both, so choose whichever you like to walk. And the aerial view you gonna love this
