The cafe is centrally located in the heart of tourist hub Sanepa. The ambiance is good, the coffee is top and the food is okay. It would be really nice if the people owning this place invested a little on training staffs on hospitality and serving. I did not want to have my fries with my fingers after having riding bike in Kathmandu. And, a little hi hello or someone coming to the table would have been nice rather than me walking to the counter and asking if this place still serves at the table or if it is a self service cafe. Never the less, I still give it a 4 star for the maintenence of the cafe and serving good food and coffee.
Mediocre food and coffee and quite expensive for what it is. Sometimes the drains smell. However, the local staff are great and it is good for a quick lunch.
The place is nice and I enjoyed working there on my computer. Sometimes, the wifi was too slow.
I found this place by chance and it’s an absolute gem. Really great coffee (a relative rarity in Kathmandu, especially away from the centre) a really nice interior with comfy chairs and a relaxed vibe, and friendly staff.
I came here almost every day I was in Kathmandu on my trip and it was a brilliant place to relax, take a breath, and enjoy a nice coffee in a chilled environment before getting on with my day.
The lattes are great, and they also do takeaway if you’re in a hurry.
Being internationally owned, Top of the World Coffee thoroughly understands both the uncompromising Western expectations regarding quality on one hand balanced by the unique challenges of providing local jobs and employment in one of the world's most daunting business environments on the other. They find great joy and also immense passion as we, daily, attempt to fill this unique niche. They specialty is that of providing a happy meeting between East and West! One of the primary motives for they being in business is to provide you with a delectable cup of coffee having a distinct Himalayan signature.
Great place, good coffe and tea but slow service
In my books THE top coffee place in the city. Cakes are good too
NIce price. Gives you a vintage vibe.
Decent food, reasonable price, nice place
A GREAT place to relax a have a double affagotto.
Best cup of filter/drip coffee in the city. They only place I know to get imported beans that are roasted locally.
Nice cozy coffee shop. Friendly atmosphere. Has many good food options but is a little pricy.
Probably one of my most favorite cafes around here. Great ambiance and good selection of drinks and food. I love their veg burger! They were kind enough to reserve pumpkin pie for me on thanksgiving day as well! Super kind staff.
Great Coffee and a good range of food on the menu. Only downside is that service can be a bit slow sometimes. They also have a range of fair trade items on sale.
This is our favorite coffee shop in Kathmandu. Here's why: it's small and intimate, surely you'll run into someone you know. Additionally, the staff rock - friendly and helpful and speak good English. Oh, and the coffee is phenomenal, so is the food. The owners are extremely conscientious and give back to the community in many ways. It may be a little pricier, but knowing that your purchase is going to provide great wages, and contribute to the local community is worth it.
