historical place.. everyone has to visit once in life
Its the place where Lord Gautam Buddha stayed in his majority of life. There is a palace found out, his room is there. There is a famous temple as well. I recommend to visit the place.
This is hstorical palace of shakya kingdom. There are lots of things yet to discover.
The place has a humongous historical significance. But painfully neglected!

About 29km west of Lumbini, Tilaurakot has been identified as the historical site of Kapilvastu, where Siddhartha Gautam spent the first 29 years of his life. The site sits in a peaceful meadow on the banks of the Banganga River. Although you can still see the foundations of a large residential compound, it takes a certain amount of imagination to visualise the city of extravagant luxury that drove the Buddha to question the nature of existence. The showy shrine nearby with several carved pachyderms is dedicated to Maya Devi.
Hindus are not taking care of historical places. Maybe nowadays, but here you cannot see anything only the base of the old-palace. Its a nice garden, but no good food or drink around.
When there is no season - of visiting this place - then almost only rikshas taking you here.
Bring textile mask and eye protector (sun glass) with you - because of the big dust and traffic.
Tilaurakot Buddha's Palace great historical and holy palace for Buddhist
