Beautiful view and comfortable rooms reliable friendly staffs and excellent service.
I guess there are good views sometimes. Not today though. Or yesterday.
Sunrise view is great and I found clean rooms. I really like taste of food.
This is a SPECTACULAR hotel, with staff that is super friendly, extremely helpful, and treats you like family. As long as you're kind to them and don't behave like some of the snooty tourists that we saw come in to their establishment, they will return the kindness tenfold.
This isn't a 5 star resort with all the amenities, but it is peaceful, serene, and beautifully designed, with a traditional look and vibe to it, while still meeting some of the western standards that some other hotels in the area may not. I would recommend that you stay at least 2-3 full days there to fully appreciate the beauty of Nagarkot. We made the mistake of only staying 1.5 days (late arrival on the first day and early departure on the third), and we were regretting it. Honestly, we wish we didn't have to leave.
The food there is really good, but skip the buffet dinner that is catered towards the tour groups, and order off the Ala carte menu. The memo's and nepalese food in particular is quite delicious. The staff there doesn't expect it at all, but be sure to tip them decently - they deserve it.
Very nice hotel, Great service and hospitality
Can see amazing mountains and sunrise views from the resort. Quiet place. Rooms are ok. Dinner and breakfast could have been better, very less choice and common food in menu. Staffs are very nice and helpful. Loved the hospitality and service.
Old Fort turned into Excellent Retreat. The rooms were great, clean. No Television and Phone, so its a real escape from city life. Fridges available. Excellent Views of Mountain Ranges. Mt Everest just barely visible, but 5km away theres a Viewing Tower near Mystic Mountain Hotel. Treks available nearby. Toilets are clean and spacious. Wifi available. 4G also available if needed. Power does go out at times, but Hotel has a huge backup generator kicking in within 30 seconds. Staff are very helpful and hospitable. Buffet Dinner is high priced and 3/5. Ordered Meals are cheaper and taste more authenthic esp Nepali n Indian Food. Sunrise is unblocked over the Himalayan Range, and staff will knock on your door if you want a wake up for sunrise. Comfortable for city people like myself. So its a great escape.
Great views and decent rooms, but quite a bit of it is under renovation.
Good, costly but cozy. View is awesome
Nice view, but my friend and I got $500 stolen there. The theif only stole part of the money so we didn't notice until we left:( Don't bring too many cash and always bring them with you, even during the dinner or lunch there!
Nice hotel with flora and fauna.. Beautiful building and great view..
located at peaceful location inside the forest. nicely decorated buildings with beautiful garden.
It is a wonderful hotel. The environment is neat and clean, the stuffs are ready to serve you, the food items are delicious. Its rate is rather high but in comparison to the experience, the rate is nothing.
This hotel is situated right at the top of the mountain. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintain. It has a stunning view of Nagarkot city. It staffs are friendly and helpful. A highly recommended place to relax and recuperate after few days of trekking.
How much does it cost per night?
Situated on top of a hill (super winding roads to the top - welcome to Nepal!), nice view of the mountain range specially during sun rise and sunset! Not too may restaurants around so the best bet is to eat at the hotel which offers buffet style lunch/ breakfast / dinner or a la carte.
Nice view, traditional buildings
very nice
